O.C. Trial Test Course

The O.C. Trial Test Course is a 38 week program designed to assist students seeking placement in an Opportunity Class (O.C) for Grades 5 & 6.

Through our program, students will have the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and confidence before undertaking the real O.C Test in July or August.

Students will spend 1 hour each week completing two parts of the exam: Part 1 & Part 2. Each part consists of 35 mixed questions that will assess student knowledge and skills in areas of English, Mathematics and Thinking Skills.

In the remaining hour, answers and solutions will be taught explicitly and efficiently by highly experienced and qualified teachers to ensure deep understanding of the vast range of challenging questions.

Care has been taken to ensure the exam format and questions are consistent to that expected in the actual O.C Test. In addition, computerised student reports will be produced weekly for close monitoring of student progress and performance, hence providing a close indication of their performance in the actual Opportunity Class Test.
